Shortline: long or short any Solana coin by contract address

Short side

SOL —

Long side

Any Solana coin, by its contract address. Shortline lines up live spot and perp prices, funding, liquidation levels and real book depth on one mirrored sheet, so you see both sides before you pick one. Quotes and calculators only; nothing here places a trade.

Live · seven days of hourly SOL closes (Hyperliquid). The same move, read from both sides.

01 · The desk

Spot on one side, perp on the other.

Spot comes from the coin's deepest Solana pool on DexScreener and Jupiter's price. Perp context comes from Hyperliquid when a market with the same ticker exists and its price agrees with spot. The spine shows the basis between them.

02 · Funding

Who pays to hold.

Perps settle funding every hour. When it is positive, longs pay shorts; when negative, shorts pay longs. Three days of this coin's history, then the extremes across every Hyperliquid market right now.

03 · Liquidation

Where each side breaks.

Isolated-margin maths in the form Hyperliquid documents: maintenance margin is half the initial margin at the market's maximum leverage. Fees use the base taker rate. This is a calculator, not an order.

04 · Anatomy

One real SOL week, two accounts.

Scroll to play the week. Both accounts open at 10× with equal margin.

05 · Scenarios

Every move, both ways.

Return on margin for each price move and leverage, after round-trip taker fees and the funding you would pay or receive over your holding time at the current rate. Cells that cross the liquidation price read liq.

Left half: short. Right half: long. Model, using the live price and funding as inputs.

06 · Impact

What size really costs.

Walk Hyperliquid's live order book for the perp, and ask Jupiter for a real route quote on spot. Both are read-only quotes: no wallet, no order.

Load a coin, then quote.

07 · Your bags

Hedge what you already hold.

Connect a wallet or paste any address. Shortline reads its token balances from mainnet, prices them with Jupiter, and for each coin with a Hyperliquid perp works out the short that would neutralise it.

No wallet read yet.

08 · Method

How Shortline reads a coin.

  1. Resolve

A contract address goes to DexScreener for every Solana pool; the deepest pool sets spot. Tickers resolve through Jupiter's token search.

  2. Match

Hyperliquid's market list is checked for the same ticker (and its thousand-unit k-versions). A match is kept only if its price is within 15% of spot.

  3. Measure

Funding history, order-book depth and Jupiter routes are fetched live. Liquidation and scenario figures are computed in your browser.

  4. Stay read-only

No orders, no swaps, no custody. A connected wallet only shares its public key so the bags panel can read balances.

09 · Questions

Before you pick a side.

Can I place a trade here?

No. Shortline gives quotes and calculators only. It never builds an order, swap or transaction. Use the venue of your choice once you have read both sides.

What if the coin has no perp?

Then the perp panel says so and the funding chart is empty. The liquidation calculator and scenario grid still work on the live spot price, with funding set by you, and the impact panel uses Jupiter's spot quote.

How is the perp matched to my contract address?

By ticker, then by price. Many coins share a ticker, so a Hyperliquid market is only shown when its mark price is within 15% of the coin's Solana spot price. Always check the market yourself.

Is the liquidation price exact?

It follows Hyperliquid's published isolated-margin formula with the market's maximum leverage. Real liquidations also depend on the mark price, cross-margin, tiered margin for very large positions and fees, so treat it as a close model.

Where does the live data come from?

DexScreener and Jupiter for Solana spot, Hyperliquid's public info API for perps, and Solana mainnet through a read-only RPC for wallet balances. Nothing requires a key and nothing is stored on a server.

Is this financial advice?

No. Leverage can lose all of your margin quickly. Shortline shows both sides on purpose; it does not recommend either.
